David served in executive management for medium-to-large manufacturing corporations for the past twenty years holding positions such as Vice President (VP), Ainsworth Lumber Co. Ltd., Senior VP and Executive VP, Mitsui Homes (Canada and USA) and Chief Operating Officer, Viceroy Homes Ltd. David’s particular excellence was in implementing process-based management systems and developing strong team dynamics to drive continuous business improvement. In recent years, David was the team leader for Mitsui Homes’ Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation, within which he developed automated financial, sales and key performance indicator (KPI) reporting; expediting monthend reporting to minutes instead of hours or days. This system provided: (1) substantially greater business-analyses detail; (2) lower administration costs; and (3) allowed management to more quickly and effectively respond to critical business issues and opportunities. David has an Advanced Graduate Diploma in Management and an MBA (Finance Major) from Athabasca University.
